The Limber Mobility Test

What is the Limber Mobility Test, and how does it work?
The Limber Mobility Test measures your flexibility and mobility across 13 key areas to  provides an overall mobility score and highlights which areas are holding  back your mobility. The test takes just 10-15 minutes to complete  and based on your results, Limber’s AI generates a customized mobility  program and targets your weak areas. Your program evolves over time as you  improve, ensuring consistent progress.
What do the mobility scores mean?
You will receive an individual score for each of the 13 mobility tests. These scores are based  on the normal ROM range of values of the population and are affected by gender and age.
When should I do my initial mobility test?
For the most accurate results, take your Limber Mobility Test at least 2 hours after waking up, when your body has loosened up naturally. Avoid testing right after a workout or stretching session, as this can temporarily affect your mobility scores. If you're feeling unusually stiff or sore, wait until you feel more like your normal self to get the best baseline measurement.
How often should I retake the test?
The Limber app will prompt you to re-take the test once per month so that you can measure your progression.
I made a mistake during the mobility test. Can I re-do it?
Yes! If you made an error, you can reset your test by tapping your mobility score on the dashboard and selecting “Reset  Test”. This will delete your most recent results and allow you to retake the test.

⚠️Important: This action is irreversible.
Can I skip the mobility test and start the exercises?
It's recommended that you do not skip the mobility test. However, if you do skip the test, the app won't be able to generate your Personalized Flow for you. But you will  still be able to follow any of the other pre-made Programs.

Training and Program Information

How are the programs tailored to me?
The Personalized Flow program is based on your mobility test results and will include exercises and stretches to specifically target the areas that are limiting your body.
Can I focus on specific areas like shoulders or hips?
If you would like to focus on a particular body part, then you can choose from one of the specific programs on the Programs Screen to target that area. Alternatively, you can create your own Custom Routine from the Coach Screen and use the filter to pick exercises from that specific body part.
How often should I train?
It depends on your flexibility, health, and fitness goals, as well as on your overall  exercise regime. If you are focused on increasing flexibility, we recommend at least 2 - 3 times per week. If you are able to recover quickly, then you can increase the frequency and even stretch daily. Flexibility takes time to develop, so it's important that you listen to your body and be patient. To secure the best results, we recommend stretching as consistently as possible.
How long should I train for?
It depends on your goals but we would recommend an absolute minimum of 10 minutes per session. The most common session duration is 30 - 40 minutes. You can edit  your session duration at any time from the Settings menu located on the Coach Screen.
Can I exclude certain exercises?
Yes. If you need to exclude a particular exercise, tap on the Gear icon on the Coach Screen to change your Program Settings. Then tap on  'Exclude exercises' and choose the exercises you  would like to exclude.
Can I save my favorite exercises?
Yes, simply tap the heart icon located next to any exercise.
